Rasch Online Course: Feb. 2006
Are you one of those who asked "When will you have a Workshop near me?" Perhaps this is the answer .... At the prompting of Randy Schumacker, Statistics.com invited me to conduct an online Rasch course in February 2006. It's called "Practical Rasch Measurement". There are three components: Readings and practical activities (using Ministep), Graded assignments (MCQ and free format - "open book" is fine with me!) and a Discussion group. A huge amount is squeezed into the four weeks - and you work at your own pace within each week. If this course succeeds, we'll schedule it at regular intervals and add more courses. The first time around will be a learning experience for everyone. And I will welcome your very frank feedback! The course is listed at: www.statistics.com/content/courses/rasch
Of course, our regular Workshops continue - the next is Facets, January 5-6, 2006, Chicago: www.winsteps.com/facwork.htm
